My brother and I would try to get him off my mother. He was too strong; he would push us across the room. My brother and I would run to the bathroom and would kneel to our knees and pray to God not to hurt our mother. We would both cry so hard, my oldest brother would get his hair pulled by him. I do not want my mom to die I would pray to God. I do not want him to hurt mom! Please help my mom. As we prayed, we would hear glass clashing on the floor and my mother yelling stop. With a sound of horror in her voice. She would then cry please do not kill me! He would then run out of the house. We would check up on my mom to make sure she was ok. Her bedroom would be upside down, she would have her ponytail messy. She would have marks on her body... She would be in the room crying trying to look strong for us but we knew she was so tired and hurt. All we could do was give her a hug and wipe her tears away. I would tell her to please don't let him back in mommy. I would beg her not to let him back! All she could do was cry.
